The texture of the embroidery shimmers just as if in real life. The silken threads project a glow that brings light and movement in contrast to the verdant green sheltered lake. The water colour gives an ambient atmosphere that brings the composition to a dreamy conclusion. Monet's garden is full of varying patterns and textures, it is a constant and never ending source of inspiration. It makes me want to create my own paradise water garden.
