The brown, oval, spiky seed head of the teasel are a familiar sight among grasslands. Here in our local park, they are looking very majestic in a huge clump two metres tall. Set against a background of dark blue-navy shadows bring out their beautiful shape and texture. It is often the case that we do not really look at grasses everyday with close scrutiny, its an artist's joy to bring awareness of nature's gifts.
