Look down on the rock and you will discover what I have experienced in roaming over the rock platform by the sea where it has made such an interesting pattern carved and formed natural in the passing of time. These were not the colours I saw, they were quite mundane, so using an artistic flair for colour, I used the complementaries to make the form and patterns sing in harmony. The shells frame around the edge giving interest and texture as well as a change of colour.
