This bush was painted in spring in the garden. The gold background was to enhance the forms of the flowers and to bring out a luminous effect when viewed at different angles. Only the birds are embroidered and they look very restful hiding in the branches. You can imagine them cooing as the spring sunshine glows through the leaves and flowers.
The piece is stretch onto canvas and protected with a mat UVA varnish.
